How do I volunteer for Art in the Classroom?

Sign-up sheets for Art in the Classroom are provided at Back to School night each year. Each classroom needs both a classroom coordinator and volunteers to teach programs each month.

If you are interested in serving as a classroom coordinator for Art in the Classroom, you may either sign up at Back to School Night or e-mail Leslie Spitalney at leslie@spitalney.com. We expect to have coordinators assigned to each class by the end of September.

If you are interested in presenting a program to your child’s class, you should sign up at Back to School night and your classroom coordinator will contact you to schedule the month for your presentation. If you decide after Back to School night that you might want to present a program, get in touch with your classroom coordinator. To access the list of classroom coordinators and their e-mail addresses, go back to the main Art in the Classroom page and click on the “Classroom Coordinators” link.
