ASFS Flag Patrol

Every day, students at ASFS raise and lower our National and State flags
as part of our School Flag Patrol Program. Our students are taught how to perform these tasks and also how to properly store and care for the flags. The ASFS Flag Patrol is also the heart of WASFTV-49.
Students serve as the show's production and tech crew each day. They also assist Investigation Station by monitoring our Pond, act as the Demonstration Team for the Space Shuttle Simulator, help with other Scientific Projects, and run dismissal each day. Finally, as the School's Color Guard the Flag Patrol leads and Participates in all school events, assemblies, and parades.

These tasks are performed without direct adult supervision, which is a great source of pride among the Flag Patrol members.
